Yesterday I bought a Nancy Sinatra lp STILL SEALED. The cover was open, but the record was still wrapped. I got a chubby opening it.

(Who knew she was so hot?)

Everyone should watch Dangerous Ground and take tips from Ice Cube on how to be a badass.

I went to film a video with The AKAs somewhere in northern New York. This guy's name is Scott but everyone ended up calling him Jesus. He was our on site meteorologist.

Oh my gosh this bike was awesome.

Yes, that's a weed whacker motor on the back, with a skateboard wheel to move the tire. The throttle is seriously a coiled wire that runs from the motor to the handle bars. He said it doesn't really help on hills, but it's nice for coasting on flat roads. Yes, that's a Sunny D bottle full of gas.

To Virginia for a weekend:

David fucking hates cilantro. He lives in Syracuse and is going to be famous. He was the first person to play Iago at the Globe Theater.

Erin is a dancer who lives in South Carolina. She is studying to be an art therapist. I think I called her last night.

My dad got a new lawn mower. The ditch doesn't look as steep as it is, but this new machine can drive straight down and right back up the other side. My dad came to visit for my birthday, which was awesome. I don't think I'll like getting old because red wine and real cigars both taste yucky.

Back at the apartment:

Here are reviews of the past five records I have purchased.

Lords: Swords
Jade Tree: "So, how many songs do you guys have?"
Lords: "Thirteen, but you can't really tell because they all sound exactly the same."
Jade Tree: "Whatever, let's make a record."

I can't tell if I hate this record because the production makes it sound like a wall of noise or if it's because the band didn't try that hard. I wish I didn't buy this shitty cd.

Every Time I Die: Gutter Phenomenon
Well, Keith Buckley continues to ruin songs by singing. It's sad to see how much control the fourteen year old wallet has over music. I get really embarrassed when people walk into my office while I'm listening to this record. This is another one I wish I didn't buy.

The Black Dahlia Murder: Miasma
This whole record sounds the same to me. Now don't get me wrong, I like black metal just as much as the next bro, but this isn't really a standout cd. I wouldn't have minded if they had sent this one to me for
free.

Between the Buried and Me: Alaska
I'm glad that BTBAM started throwing in some sweet solos(I never noticed that was a palindrome), but this record is nowhere near as catchy and creative as The Silent Circus. The last track, Laser Speed, gets me so stoked on this band that I can barely control myself. Although this record isn't as good as their last, it doesn't stop me from listening to it over and over. I'm glad I bought this one.

Death Cab for Cutie: Plans
I like this record a lot. Some of the songs are like "Meh" and
some are like "Yeah!!" I'm stoked that I bought this one. If
you don't want to buy the whole thing, atleast spend the
ninety-nine cents on iTunes for the song Brothers on a Hotel
Bed.

This weekend Emma and I went to my home in Virginia. My dad took my toenail off.

This was after the iodine and about ten shots of numby stuff.

Gross. He was literally prying my toenail off.

My ingrown toe was so bad that it had actually flipped around and come back toward the inside.

Soaking it the next day. That green stuff is part pus, part Vaseline pad to keep the bandages from sticking.

Well, well, well...looks like the ol' internet decided to randomly show up on my computer after a four day hiatus. To briefly catch up:

Last Friday night I saw Daughters, Doomriders, Read Yellow, and Get Killed, at the Church. Like every show I go to, I felt so old. I guess I was those kids a few years ago, huh? Well, I didn't have the audacity to act like an ass at shows. This is xhardcorex bitches, act right or get set right. This is the most serious thing you'll ever know. Now get on the dance floor and let's see some blood. Right?

I got way way intoxicated Saturday night. I think that's the most drunk I've ever been. To quickly sum up:
I played bass while drinking; on the walk to Wawa I was bushwhacking/trailblazing with a stick I found; Aaron burned me hard with a cigarette; once we got home, I don't remember much except being sick sick sick. Then I woke up feeling perfect the next day.

1: I'm sorry this entry fell apart, I have to go to work.

This was kind of a bummer. You know how animals go crazy when they've been in a zoo for so long? Prime example. He was still beautiful, though.

Holy shit!! Right before we got to the eagle cage, they had just fed him three dead white mice. He was just ripping chunks of the carcass off and swallowing them whole. It was amazing.

Eagles are so badass. Good job America for picking the Bald Eagle and not the turkey.
